Union Grove Ruritan Club To Build New Clubhouse
Posted: Wednesday, February 6, 2008
Union Grove-The members of Union Grove Ruritan Club came a step closer in realizing a dream of owning their own clubhouse with the recent announcement of a land donation on which to build the new facility. Mr. William White, a charter member and active member of the club, announced to the club that he wished to donate land on NC 901 approximately 2 miles west of the current clubhouse near Union Grove Recreation Club, for a new and permanent home for the club. Club members were overwhelmed with Mr. White's generosity and his desire to see the club have proper home.

A building committee has been formed and is putting together site plans for the parcel of land and how to best proceed to beginning construction of the new facility.

The members of the club wish to thank William and his family for their generosity and look forward to the construction of our new home.
